Z-profile
Profiles manufactured with a Z-shaped cross-section are also commonly known as Z purlins and are classified as open sections. The production process for these profiles is relatively complex and is carried out using the hot rolling method. Z-profile sizes and dimensions are available in a wide range and are manufactured based on market and customer requirements. The maximum steel grade used for these profiles is up to ST52.
Z profiles are produced using hot-rolled (black) sheet or cold-rolled (oiled) sheet. The sheet sizes can be 16, 18, 20, and 22, with thicknesses of 22, 2.5 , and 3 mm3 mm. In the market, Z profiles are commonly referred to as Z16, Z18, Z20, and Z22. The number after “Z” indicates the height of the Z profile. Another characteristic of Z profiles is the presence of slotted punching (commonly known as kidney-shaped holes).
