Pre-painted steel sheet is essentially galvanized steel sheet coated with an electrostatic paint layer. These sheets are available in approximately 15 different colors in the market. The coating thickness on the top surface of the steel is typically about 20 to 25 microns, while the backside coating thickness ranges from 7 to 15 microns.

If a thicker paint layer is applied (around 200 microns), specialized technology can be used to create various textures and patterns such as leather, wood, or stone finishes on the surface.
